Hi Diy!

You may have tried cutting glass to the shape or size needed for a etched glass project. If you haven't yet, this latest post may help in the future.

One thing I would like to point out here– cutting thick but short pieces off a glass sheet can be a pain! These thick glass sheets are usually for those sandcarving 3d etchings but they look great with regular surface etchings also. So now this latest post provides tips and suggestions on cutting thick glass or even just thin glass in small strips without them breaking incorrectly.

It discusses:

  • Tips for Cutting Thick, Short Glass Successfully
  • How you might be able to use a diamond cutting wheel for small broken pieces
  • Thick Glass Cutter

Please read about it on the blog and leave a comment >>> http://www.glassetchingsecrets.com/how-to-cut-small-thick-glass-pieces/

Also, even those these tips will help, I am no expert on glass cutting so I am looking forward to your suggestions in the comments. It is much appreciated. Thank you!

P.S. Engraving/sandblasting rocks is as fun as glass etching. Learn how here!
