Whether you used our wax melting pots or our pouring pitchers to make candles, cleaning them up is fairly easy.

  1. Heat Leftovers Wax Up: If you recently finished pouring all your candles, the left over wax may still be in liquid form. If not, it is a good idea to heat it up again.
  2. Wipe with Paper Towel: Once it is in liquid form, simply take a couple paper towels and wipe the surface dry.
  3. Remove Residue: to remove residue, put some rubbing alcohol on a new paper towel and wipe it clean.

How to Clean Wax Melting Pot Spout

If you are using our wax melting pots, you may want to clean the spout. This will help prevent possible clogs in the future also.

I suggest heating up soapy water in the pot and opening the valve to help wash out all the residue wax and fragrance oil. Then remove the tip of the spout by unscrewing it counter-clockwise so it can be cleaned easier. Roll a paper towel soaked with rubbing alcohol into a cylinder form and place it in the spout while turning it. Do this for both the spout entry and exit.
